A very warm welcome to Chapelford Village Primary School website.
I have been Headteacher of Chapelford Village Primary School since we relocated from Sycamore Lane in February 2013 and I love every minute of my privileged role.
During recent years the school has grown rapidly and changed dramatically, we have relocated and grown in size considerably. It has been a pleasure to open up the school to more families in the local community so that they can become part of the Chapelford Village Primary School family.
I am extremely proud of our school, our staff and most importantly the children. I am also very proud of the relationships we have built with our community. Our school aim is rooted in the achievements of all of our pupils and staff.
In March 2013 our school was judged as 'good' in all areas and we are very proud of our outcome. However, since our last inspection we have not been resting on our laurels - anything but! In January 2018 the school was proud to become part of the OMEGA Multi Academy trust with 3 other local primary schools, Great Sankey High School and Barrow Hall College.
At Chapelford Village Primary School we have been continually striving to improve the learning experiences, enjoyment and achievements of our pupils during a period of rapid growth and change.
The continuing success of the school is due to the determination, hard work and ambition of the entire school community and the effective partnerships that we have developed that ensure the children always come first at Chapelford Village Primary School.
At Chapelford Village Primary School, we clearly recognise the importance of developing key basic skills and a lifelong love of learning. We aim to nurture, develop and celebrate the gifts and talents of every child in school. We do this by providing a clear sequential and purposeful curriculum that embraces all styles of learning through engaging pupil interest.
Through our purposeful curriculum children experience a deep and rich range of activities, that allow for application of basic skills and develop knowledge and skills in all subjects. These experiences are enhanced further by a wide range of educational trips, residential visits and out of classroom learning opportunities.
The school is very proud to hold a variety of accreditations including the "Platinum" Wise Up award which celebrates the work that the school undertakes to tackle bullying and hate crime and the Gold Games Award for PE and Sports.
Our school building provides the children and staff with state of the art facilities that celebrate our passion for creativity and the arts. We continue to develop our extensive outdoor areas as the school matures and funding is raised.
The school website gives you a "taster" of school life at Chapelford Village Primary School and reflects the value and quality of educational experiences that we provide. You can also follow the daily life of the school on Facebook and Twitter. However, I would urge you to come and visit the school (which at times may include a guided tour by our great ambassadors) to see the school in its entirety. You will be assured of a warm welcome from all!
We look forward to meeting you.
