'There's a Rang-Tan in My Bedroom'.

We are celebrating World Book Day today with learning round our focus book There’s A Rang-Tan In My Bedroom. The picture book tells the tale of a little girl who discovers an orangutan in her bedroom. She can’t understand why it’s so angry about her shampoo and chocolate but he then explains that the palm oil used to make them is leading to deforestation, which is destroying his home. We had some wonderful monkeys and orangutans in school and each class was a wonderful sea of orange and brown to reflect the colours of the animals.
