Year 4 Multiplication Check

In June, our Year 4 children will take part in the Statutory Multiplication Tables Check.

The Multiplication Tables Check is a statutory assessment designed to determine whether children can fluently recall their multiplication tables. Children will be asked to answer multiplication questions using a computer or tablet.

Remember – little and often is the key! Regular, short bursts of times tables practice can help children build their confidence and fluency.

Over the last few weeks, we have also been considering the cognitive characteristics (ACPS), such as meta-thinking, linking and self regulation, to best achieve our own goals.
