World of Work week

Today our year 6 students have enjoyed the opportunity to take on different roles within the school. The jobs that were available were: headteacher, assistant to the headteacher, deputy, teacher and admin etc. The children in year 6 had the opportunity to apply for the roles they felt best suited to and had to go through an interview process where there were more applicants than positions available.

Later on in this week, there are visitors that are taking their time to come to school and have a conversation with the year 6's about their various jobs. We hope that the adults may inspire the kids to take on careers in the future that at this time they know nothing about!
