Meet the new Mini-Police team!
In an exciting initiative, the Year 6 students of Chapelford Primary School have embraced a unique opportunity to become mini police officers, demonstrating their commitment to supporting and improving the local community. To secure their roles, the aspiring young officers underwent a rigorous application process, including interviews and a selection phase, showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact on the areas surrounding Chapelford.
The students recently had the honour of meeting with the Warrington Police team to receive their official uniforms. The day was filled with immersive experiences, as the mini police officers toured the police museum, had the chance to sit in both a police car and motorbike, and even stepped into a real courtroom. During their visit, the young recruits encountered Panda Police, a furry ambassador representing the police force. In a symbolic and heartfelt gesture, each mini police officer pledged their commitment to the Chapelford community, vowing to contribute to the betterment of their surroundings.
The Chapelford mini police force is a testament to the school's commitment to fostering civic responsibility and instilling a sense of duty in the younger generation. As they patrol our community, these young officers are sure to make a lasting impact, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to serving and protecting the neighborhood.
