Year 4 Times Tables

Year 4 have been working hard to develop their times table knowledge, recall and confidence. They have been practising their multiplication facts regularly, working on becoming quicker and more accurate with their recall.

The children particularly love using Times Table Rock Stars, which has been a fantastic way to make practising their times tables fun and engaging. They enjoy challenging themselves, improving their scores and competing with their friends!

We also held a Times Tables Information Evening for parents, which was very well attended. The session provided families with helpful information about how times tables are taught in school and practical ways they can support their children at home.

It has been fantastic to see such enthusiasm from both our children and families. With regular practice at school and at home, our Year 4 mathematicians are building strong foundations for their future maths learning.
