As part of their learning on the topic 'people who help us', the children in EYFS were extremely lucky to have a visit from the fire brigade!

The children were very excited to learn all about the different emergencies the fire brigade help us with. They were very surprised that it wasn't just fires they helped with but car accidents, floods and lost people too. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different equipment the fire fighters brought to look at and all the children had a go at spraying the fire hose. It was super powerful!

The pupils impressed the firefighters with their knowledge and thoughtful enquiring questions. We are so lucky to have had lots of visits from the emergency services and we would like to thank them for their time in supporting our children's learning, as well as working hard to keep us all safe!
