On the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, our school community came together to remember and celebrate the bravery, sacrifice, and service of all those who lived through and served during the Second World War.

Our children took part in a special assembly where they listened to real-life stories from the war, helping them understand the importance of this historic day. As a school, we joined the nation in a two-minute silence, showing our deep respect and gratitude for those who served.

Following our reflections, the children explored our school value of aspiration, learning how the courage and determination shown during WW2 can inspire us all to be positive forces in the world today.
