Fearless Explores on their Gulliver's Adventure

Our Year 2 children set off on their Gulliver’s residential with excitement and returned as truly fearless explorers. Throughout the two days, they embraced every opportunity with confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm, making us incredibly proud.
From the very start, the children showed fantastic collaboration. Whether they were strategising during Blast (laser tag) or supporting one another through the Nightline obstacle course—navigating challenges while blindfolded—they demonstrated trust, communication, and resilience.
Creativity shone through during the bucket drumming session, where each group worked together to compose their own unique beats.
There was also plenty of laughter and energy as the children enjoyed scooters and crazy golf, encouraging each other every step of the way.
As the sun set, the adventure continued with a magical dinosaur trail around the park, followed by toasting marshmallows and a small disco, a highlight for many! Despite the excitement, the children settled beautifully into their hotel rooms, showing great independence and maturity.
Day two brought even more thrills, with rides including the caterpillar, big swings, grand prix cars, and the wonderfully topsy-turvy upside-down house. Once again, the children approached each experience with bravery and joy.
Throughout the entire residential, the children were polite, friendly, and respectful, truly embodying our school values. They supported one another, tried new things, and represented the school exceptionally well.
This Gulliver’s adventure will be remembered not only for the fun activities but for the confidence, friendships, and teamwork that grew along the way. What a fantastic experience for our Year 2 children!
