Year 4 have been busy developing their understanding of electrical circuits in Science this week!

The children used a range of components to build their own circuits, working carefully to connect everything correctly and make their bulbs light up. They then became scientific problem-solvers, investigating what might happen when a bulb didn’t come on.

The children discussed possible causes, including a loose connection, an incomplete circuit or a problem with one of the components, before testing their ideas and making changes to their circuits.

It was fantastic to see the children testing, investigating and problem-solving as they worked together to get their circuits working. They showed great curiosity and perseverance throughout the lesson!
