Dear parents and carers,

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer break and are ready to kick off an exciting new school year! We’re thrilled to welcome your children back to school and look forward to a year full of engaging learning experiences, inspiring visitors, and memorable residential trips.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming up:
Learning Adventures: Our dedicated staff have planned a year packed with dynamic lessons and activities to spark curiosity and foster growth across the curriculum.
Visitors: We’re excited to host a variety of visitors who will bring new insights and experiences to enrich our pupils' learning and contribute towards their personal development.
Residential Trips: These trips are a highlight of the year and provide wonderful opportunities for students to explore, learn, and bond.

This week, the children have been completing a range of activities designed to help them settle back in comfortably. They’ve focused on managing worries, recognising emotions, and adapting to the changes that come with a new school year. To support this, we’ve used some wonderful storybooks that provided a gentle introduction and valuable lessons on these topics. The children’s responses and reflections have been impressive, and we’re excited to display some of their published work in their new classrooms.

After-School Clubs: Information on after-school clubs, including Learning Club, will be sent out next week. Clubs will start on the 16th of September, offering a range of activities for pupils to explore their interests and develop new skills whilst having lots of fun!

If you have any questions or need assistance at any time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school office or your child’s class teacher. We’re here to support you and ensure this year is a great success for your child.

Thank you for your continued support. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
