This week marked the return of football competitions for our Chapelford Boys' Foobtall teams following the summer break. After an incredibly successful competitive season in all areas of sport last year, our children were eager and ready to showcase their talent, sportsmanship and determination on the field.

On Tuesday, both our Year 4 and Year 6 boys' football teams had an outstanding performance, going undefeated throughout the day. With two tournaments taking place and two groups of winners emerging, it was a day filled with exceptional football and sportsmanship. Thursday saw our Year 3 and 5 boys head to Rylands to compete and mirror the success from the previous day. Both teams qualified for their finals event with the Year 3 team winning the the group and conceding 0 goals! Mr Capper said, "The Year 3 and 5 boys approached the day with such grit and determination. From a coach's perspective, they are a joy to work with as they support each other so well as teams."

All the teams displayed true champion spirit, securing their spots in the upcoming Warrington semi-finals/finals later in the school year. The Year 6 boys, who have been working tirelessly for years, finally achieved the title they have been striving for, after coming close year after year. Our Year 6 boys have also qualified for the County Finals, which are held in Crewe every year. This is a remarkable achievement that reflects their hard work and dedication over the years. A special mention goes out to our Year 3 and 4 teams, who played together for the first time and showed great teamwork and determination. The Year 5 team, although unsuccessful in winning the group, scored an amazing free kick and did not let the score impact their effort and team spirit.

Player of the tournament:

Year 3: Kayden

Year 4: Connor

Year 5: Dahat

Year 6: Harry

It is a monumental achievement for three of our teams to remain unbeaten throughout the day, with the Year 3 and 6 teams not conceding a single goal in the tournament. We are incredibly proud of all the boys who participated yesterday and congratulate them on their well-deserved success. We can't wait to see how the teams progress further into the year. Well done, boys!
