Gulliver's World Residential

Year 2 had a fantastic start to their first ever residential. They split into groups to complete their first sessions including watching a puppet show and learning how to spin plates and juggle!
The children had a great time! They have worked collaboratively to find different natural resources to build dens and spent some time burning off lots of energy on the scooters.
Class 7 were scooting round the park finding clues that lead to hidden treasure, Class 8 were putting their skills to a test in a game of crazy golf and Class 9 had a music tea party where they learnt how to drum using buckets
The children have a jam packed evening ahead with 3 night time activities. What better way to start than an interactive session in the Starlight Theatre full of party dances and games?! They have also been toasting marshmallows and have explored the dinosaur trail!
Class 7 enjoyed a game of mini golf around the safari area, Class 8 ensured everyone was awake with some bucket drumming and Class 9 worked together to build dens.
The teachers are so proud of how well the children did overnight on their first ever residential. There was even a comment about them being the best ever children at going straight to sleep and we were actually waking most children up this morning! Well done, Year 2
