Head Boy & Head Girl Elections – A Celebration of Leadership

This week marked a truly special moment at Chapelford as our Year 6 pupils stepped into the spotlight for the Head Boy and Head Girl elections. It was a week filled with excitement, inspiration and pride, as our oldest children demonstrated what it really means to be a leader in our school community.
From powerful speeches and eye-catching posters to thoughtful presentations and even campaign videos, each candidate gave it their all showing not only their creativity and confidence, but also the school values that make Chapelford and all the children special. The whole process encouraged our young leaders to reflect on what makes a great role model and how they could make a positive difference in school life.
As part of our High Performance Learning (HPL) approach, the children embraced key characteristics such as empathy, collaboration and intellectual confidence. It was wonderful to see them supporting one another, listening carefully and bravely standing up to share their ideas.
Every pupil who put themselves forward should feel incredibly proud; their courage, ambition and resilience truly shone through. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the candidates for their enthusiasm and hard work.
With huge congratulations, we are delighted to announce our new Head Boy and Head Girl for the year ahead… Jack and Elsie!
We know they will wear their new roles with pride and lead our school with kindness, dedication and a smile. Well done, Jack and Elsie — and well done to every single child who took part. You’ve inspired us all.
